

Germany-based Quantron has its eye on the North American market for zero-emission trucks, with their Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle.
With Canada’s Ballard Power on board to supply fuel cells and plans to partner with North American truck manufacturers for things like the chassis, the company is well on their way. Initial designs include on-board hydrogen storage capable of 750 miles of range, with plans to eventually expand to 1,000 miles. Miami to LA with just two stops for fuel? Very possible!
Quantron anticipates manufacturing 1,000 trucks annually at their Michigan facility. And through their partnership with FirstElement Fuel, Quantron will also be building hydrogen fueling stations to power their vehicles.
