OpenAI’s Stargate Project is slated to fill a new data center in Texas with billions of dollars worth of Nvidia’s AI superchips.
The data center is expected to have 64,000 Nvidia GB200 superchips by the end of next year. The first 16,000 chips are expected to be installed by this summer.
Announced in January, the $500 billion Stargate Project will develop AI infrastructure for OpenAI. This will both secure American AI leadership and support the nation’s industrial resurgence.
