AIR COMPANY has raised $69 million in Series B for their carbon conversion technology.
Their proprietary AIRMADE™ tech can transform captured CO2 and hydrogen into a wide range of synthetic fuels and chemicals.
Right now, the company is particularly focused on SAF and has commercial partnerships with JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic, as well as multiple government contracts, including with NASA and the United States Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit. Their SAF can directly integrate with existing aircraft and infrastructure.
This round was led by Avfuel, with participation from Lowercarbon Capital, IQT (In-Q-Tel), Alaska Airlines, Connecticut Innovation’s Climate Tech Fund, Duncan Aviation, JSSI, and the owners of Sheltair Aviation, Carbon Direct Capital, JetBlue Ventures, and Toyota Ventures.
