Vistra Corp. has agreed to buy seven natural gas-fired generation plants from Lotus Infrastructure Partners for $1.9 billion.
The facilities are located across several states, including California, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. The acquisition includes five combined-cycle gas turbine plants and two combustion turbine plants.
All together, this adds 2,557 megawatts to Vistra’s portfolio, the largest of which is the Pennsylvania Fairless location at 1,320 MW.
