Oracle plans to spend roughly $40 billion on Nvidia chips for a Stargate data center in Texas.
About 400,000 advanced chips will be purchased for the giant facility in Abilene. The project is being developed by OpenAI and SoftBank, among others.
This first Stargate project will house 1.2 gigawatts of computing power when finished sometime next year.
