Nimbus Power Systems has secured pre-seed financing led by Connecticut Innovations for their zero-emission heavy-duty fuel cell engine.
If scaled, this tech could redefine the heavy-duty vehicle industry, providing cleaner and more efficient solutions for a notoriously hard-to-decarbonize sector.
With this funding, Nimbus Power Systems plans to scale up and prove performance of its fuel cell engine. This could provide large emissions reductions in the transportation sector—historically one of the largest contributors to global GHGs.
