GE Vernova is investing $80 million in its Pennsylvania factories to help solve today’s power demand problem.
The investment will be used to create 250 new jobs at its Charleroi grid solutions factory, supporting the manufacturing of high-voltage switchgear products.
This couldn’t come at a more essential time. Our grid needs to modernize fast if we are to keep up with demand from things like AI. This is a matter of global technical leadership and national security.
This is just the latest investment coming from GE Vernova. Since the beginning of the year, they have announced $680 million in U.S. investments.
