GE Vernova and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have just signed a deal to provide power equipment to data centers.
With GE Vernova’s help, four AWS data centers will be connected to the grid. GE Vernova is supplying major electrical equipment, project management, and construction support for these new sites.
The companies are also exploring additional power generation opportunities for AWS. Currently in the works are some onshore wind development projects.
Partnerships like this are pushing a data-centered world forward. Today’s data centers need reliable, cost-effective electricity to reach their full potential.
