Apple is betting on Texas with a new 250,000-square-foot AI server manufacturing facility, as part of their latest $500 billion investment in the U.S. over the next 4 years.
The new factory is expected to open in Houston in 2026. The servers manufactured there will power Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI personal assistant for iPhone, iPad and Macs.

The $500 billion investment will also go toward hiring around 20,000 new employees across the country. Many of these new jobs will be in R&D, silicon engineering, software development, and AI and machine learning.
