REGENT Secures $60M Series A for Sea Glider Tech

REGENT seeks to redefine sustainable transportation and bridge the gap between conventional boats and airplanes, all while 100% electric.

The funding round included previous investors Japan Airlines Innovation Fund, Lockheed Martin, and Yamato Holdings, and new investors Point72 Ventures, Caffeinated Capital, Mark Cuban, UAE’s Strategic Development Fund, Future Planet Capital and others.

What sets REGENT apart is its “seaglider” technology, combining the speed of air travel with the efficiency of maritime transit. Imagine zooming over the water at airplane speeds, but without the carbon footprint!

This is all part of a larger shift towards sustainable transportation solutions that not only address carbon neutrality but also meet the rising demand for faster, more efficient transit options.
